Hi ,
21 years.
There's now a whole generation that wasn't even alive when 9/11 happened. Yet many of us, myself included, remember exactly where we were. It's not an event that we will ever forget.
Despite all the fear, sadness, and tragedy that surrounds the memory of September 11, what I remember most from that day, even 21 years later, are the stories of love and bravery of regular, everyday people. Those memories serve as a poignant reminder that love, connection, and the human spirit are what really matter in life especially now, in a time where there seems to be so much anger and conflict in our world.
It is also the spirit of these memories that drives me to lead Alala to be a company that leaves the world better than we found it: whether that's through our charitable initiatives, nurturing the careers of the women on our team, or our mission to inspire confidence through our clothes. Our hope is that Alala brings you some small joy when you wear our pieces.
