Send them to camp! Let me explain ...

Sadly, when I say, "Our nation's youth are in crisis," you don't need to guess whether it's satire or not. You know - you've seen - it's all too real.
Anxiety, depression, confusion, loneliness ... kids and teens today are experiencing all this and more. They're glued to phones and social media, and it only makes things worse. What a difference it would make to unplug and get away from it all for even a week ... to spend some time in the great outdoors, to make new friends, play sports, enjoy the arts, and learn about Jesus, too.
Below, you'll read a message from Kids Across America (KAA) - a respected Christian ministry that has been investing in urban youth and their mentors for over 30 years.
They give kids from under-resourced communities the opportunity to spend a week of their summer away at camp - many for the first time! And in 30+ years, more than 150,000 kids and teens have been presented the gospel.

I'm Randy Odom, CEO of Kids Across America (KAA). For over 30 years, our camp mission has remained the same: To build Christian leaders by encouraging, equipping, and empowering urban youth and their mentors.
And ... it's working! Over 170,000 campers and their mentors from across the country have attended camp with us in the beautiful Ozarks over the years. Here, they spend a week away from home - often for the first time - and enjoy delicious food, play games and sports, make new friendships ... so much FUN!

|  | The kick-off to our 2023 camp season is just weeks away - and 3,900+ campers from 195 cities in 25 states are already signed up to attend!
But many of the youth who come to us cannot afford to attend camp on their own.
Right now, with Summer 2023 right around the corner, we still need scholarship funding for slightly over 2,000 kids to come to camp.

I ask because many of the kids and teens we serve come from under-resourced communities. Many of these kids will spend all summer in environments that will keep them from being exposed to the love of Jesus ... and potentially exposing them to more violence. More crime. More alcohol and drugs. But if YOU send them to camp? Everything can change.

Ordinarily, $84 is all it takes to sponsor one day of camp for a camper - $588 for an entire week. But because of the Challenge ...Every $84 will be DOUBLED in ministry impact, providing TWO days of camp.
